4. Microbiology Soil Assessment

A Microbiology assessment gives you a great understanding of what is and isn't in your Soil, Compost or Liquid Amendment. 

This assessment will help you understand what microbiology is in your soil, compost or liquid and will be a base help you to formulate your own plan moving forward. 

Using the Soil Food Web methodology this Soil / Compost or Liquid Assessment will assess the following:

Beneficial organisms

  • Total bacteria biomass
  • Total fungal biomass
  • Total amoebae
  • Total flagellates
  • Total actinobacteria
  • Presence of bacterivore nematodes
  • Presence of fungivore nematodes
  • Presence of predator nematodes
  • Non beneficial organisms
  • Total Oomycete biomass
  • Total ciliate biomass
  • Presence of root feeding/parasitic nematodes
  • Pathogen and disease bacteria (yes or not applicable)
